Ring One
This ring will be crafted in a size 7 and feature the Kalalea Mountains in solid 14K yellow gold against a sterling silver sky. The base of the band will have a flowing, wave-like texture. A beautiful Kingman waterweb teardrop turquoise, set in 14K gold, will be a focal point to the piece. Value $1200
Ring Two
Crafted entirely in 14K yellow gold, this ring will feature a radiant sun motif designed to highlight both the turquoise. The sun will be created from heirloom gold, adding personal significance to the design. The top of the sun will feature a small heirloom diamond. Value $700 – the labor of removing gems and melting down the gold is included into this price.
Credit/Recycling for the family ring: I will remove the gemstones from the ring and will melt the gold into an ingot. I will roll the ingot into being a flat piece of metal that is used for the sun. The remaining metal will be weighed and credited back to you. Its hard to say for sure but I estimate around $200-250 will be credited back to you!
Total for both rings $1900 minus $200 for recycling gold = $1700.
