This bolo tie was created with the intention of honoring the circle of life—the sacred reciprocity between predator and prey, and the way both are needed for a balanced, thriving ecosystem. Featured in this piece is a bear standing beside a flowing riverway, a fish swimming past, and mountains rising behind them.
The bear represents strength, introspection, and guardianship. The fish symbolizes nourishment, persistence, and the continuous pulse of life. Together they embody the cycle that sustains forests, rivers, and the countless species that rely on both.
It hangs on a 42" long, 4mm dark brown leather cord but can be paired with a different cord color upon request. If you'd like a different cord other than dark brown, leave your preferred cord color in the notes at checkout.
Personalization: Add a custom inscription on the back for $30. Can feature your initials, a meaningful date, river coordinates, or a short phrase within 8–10 characters.
How It’s Made: This design began as a hand-fabricated original, crafted by yours truly. A mold was then created so each piece could be cast in solid sterling silver. After casting, every bolo returns to our studio for finishing touches, hand detailing, assembly, and cord work. Though cast, each one retains the soul, intention, and craftsmanship of the original.
