This handcrafted talisman bolo tie is a tribute to the buffalo—an ancient symbol of strength, abundance, endurance, and sacred sacrifice. Designed with intention, the piece features a powerful buffalo standing before the Teton mountain range, a landscape as commanding and timeless as the animal itself.
Design Variation - You may choose from two night-sky variations: a silver moon or a Colorado smoky quartz moon, each offering its own flavor of quiet magic.
Measures at 1.75 x 1.5”. and hangs on a 42" long, 4mm matte black leather cord but can be paired with a different cord color upon request. If you'd like a different cord other than black, leave your preferred cord color in the notes at checkout.
Made to Order / Personalization - Add a custom inscription on the back for $30. Can feature your initials, a meaningful date, river coordinates, or a short phrase within 8–10 characters.
How It’s Made - This design began as a hand-fabricated original, crafted by yours truly. A mold was then created so each piece could be cast in solid sterling silver. After casting, every bolo returns to our studio for finishing touches, hand detailing, assembly, and cord work. Though cast, each one retains the soul, intention, and craftsmanship of the original.
More on the Buffalo - The buffalo has long been honored as a teacher of resilience. It moves slowly, steadily, and with purpose—even through storms. To many cultures, the buffalo represents prayer, gratitude, and the reminder that abundance flows from respect: respect for the land, for the herd, for the cycles that sustain us.
