BOLITA CLASS - JULY 11

Join us in crafting your very own bolita, what we lovingly refer to as a feminine bolo tie. In this hands-on workshop, you'll learn the basics of silversmithing while creating a sweet, personalized bolo featuring a semiprecious gemstone set in sterling silver and finished on genuine leather cord.

Workshop Details:
• Time: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Location: Frontera Jewelry Studio + Storefront
• Cost: $200 + materials 

Throughout the day, you'll learn how to:

• Use a jeweler's saw
• Solder with a torch
• Fabricate your bolo setting
• Polish and finish your piece
• Securely set your stone

All skill levels are welcome! This class is open to ages 16 and older. You'll work under the close guidance of a master silversmith who will walk you through each step of the design and fabrication process.

Please Note:

• Silver and gemstones are not included in the class fee. Material costs will be paid on the day of class and typically range from $30–$100+, depending on the stone and materials you choose.

• Metalwork will remain relatively simple. Students may choose from a clean silver border, a classic sunburst design, or the addition of small silver ball accents.

• Due to the complexity of one step in the fabrication process, the final soldering step will be completed by the instructor.
