This bolo tie honors one of the most iconic granite walls on Earth: El Capitan of Yosemite. The design features the towering rock face rising above a sacred river, a reminder that every climb—literal or metaphorical—has its ebbs and flows. Beneath the summit’s courage is the river’s patience; together, they symbolize the harmony of perseverance and surrender.
This bolo measures 1.75” x 1.25”. It hangs on a 42" long, 4mm matte black leather cord but can be paired with a different cord color upon request. If you'd like a different cord other than black, leave your preferred cord color in the notes at checkout.
Design variation: Choose between the brass sun or the silver crescent night designs.
Personalization: Add a custom inscription on the back for $30. Can feature your initials, a meaningful date, river coordinates, or a short phrase within 8–10 characters.
How It’s Made: This design began as a hand-fabricated original, crafted by yours truly. A mold was then created so each piece could be cast in solid sterling silver. After casting, every bolo returns to our studio for finishing touches, hand detailing, assembly, and cord work. Though cast, each one retains the soul, intention, and craftsmanship of the original.
